Last Saturday, I had the honour of documenting the beautiful wedding of Jaron and Anne – a day filled with gentle joy, emotional moments, and the golden glow of a Valletta sunset.
Their wedding day started with peaceful preparations. Jaron got ready at Razzett Santa Katerina, a place full of Maltese rustic charm, while Anne prepared at Domus Zamitello in the heart of Valletta – her bridal look crafted to perfection by Sybele Khutri and Sarah Ann Xuereb with elegant hair styling by Sacha Roberts Paxanas. Her stunning dress from Bridal Catania reflected Anne’s grace so beautifully.
The ceremony was held in Valletta, where the couple saw each other for the first time at the altar – the moment they had most looked forward to. As they exchanged vows surrounded by family and friends, the music of Dorothy Bezzina, filled the church with heartfelt melodies, making this sacred moment even more meaningful.
After the mass, we wandered through the streets of Valletta for their photoshoot. Walking with them in the quiet warmth of the late afternoon, I could see how deeply they loved each other. Every glance, every touch spoke volumes of their bond. We captured portraits in the timeless alleys and with cinematography by Derston Aquilina ensuring every moment was preserved in motion.
Anne and Jaron then made their way to the MCC in their classic bridal car by Percius, ready to celebrate their reception styled by Ruben Decor with floral arrangements by David Grech. Their cake cutting took place during sunset, bathed in natural soft light as the sky turned pastel behind them – a truly perfect choice for photos.
Music for their reception was in the lively hands of Versatile Brass, bringing energy and celebration to the evening. Their first dance to Young and Beautiful by Lana del Rey set the romantic tone for the night.
Jaron and Anne, thank you for trusting me to document your wedding day. From quiet prayers before mass to the exuberant celebrations that carried on into the underground after-party, your day was a testament to love, family, and the beauty of simplicity done with elegance.
