Maria and Bernard’s wedding day was a beautiful winter celebration filled with character, elegance, and genuine joy. With the timeless charm of Tarxien, their day unfolded at a relaxed pace, allowing every moment to be fully experienced and beautifully documented.

The morning began with Bernard getting ready in Tarxien, where the atmosphere was calm and quietly exciting. Shortly after, the focus shifted to Domus Zamittello in Valletta, where Maria prepared in one of the city’s most refined and historic settings. Surrounded by soft light and classic architecture, Maria wore a timeless gown from Wed2Be UK, complemented by elegant jewellery from ZsaZsa. Her makeup by Marilyn Montebello and hair styled by Justin & Mark completed a look that was both graceful and effortlessly chic.

The ceremony took place at Kappella San Bert in Tarxien, an intimate and meaningful setting where Maria and Bernard exchanged vows surrounded by family and close friends. Music by Tezara added warmth and emotion to the ceremony, creating a beautifully reverent atmosphere that reflected the couple’s connection.

Following the ceremony, we took advantage of the surrounding area for portraits, including the elegant backdrop of Palazzo Abela, before the celebrations continued at the same venue. Bernard’s arrival in a classic Land Rover was a highlight — a personal touch he had been looking forward to — adding character and charm to the day.

As evening settled in, Palazzo Abela transformed into a lively reception space, styled with décor and floral arrangements by Rita Schembri. The couple’s first dance to “Can’t Help Falling in Love” by Elvis Presley was a heartfelt moment, setting the tone for an evening of dancing, laughter, and celebration. With music by Wedding DJ Service, guests filled the dancefloor well into the night.

What stood out most about Maria and Bernard’s wedding was the sense of ease and enjoyment — the feeling that everything had come together just as it should. From Bernard’s excitement at greeting guests to Maria finally letting go and dancing the night away, their day was a true reflection of who they are.
