Some weddings stay with you long after the music fades and the lights dim — Catherine and Gilmour’s celebration was one of those. Set against the timeless beauty of Malta, their wedding was a heartfelt fusion of pure joy. It was a privilege to witness and document a day that felt both deeply personal and beautifully curated.

From the moment I met them, it was clear how grounded and genuine they are — not only in their love for each other, but in the value they place on connection. Their wedding was not about extravagance, but about meaning. Every detail was intentional. Every moment, sincere.

The ceremony took place at the parish church in Dingli, a village that echoes peace and tradition. Surrounded by loved ones and accompanied by Gabriella’s angelic voice, their vows felt deeply rooted in faith. It was a moment of calm reverence before the celebration truly began.

Afterwards, we took a brief tour around the Dingli village and created some art. The celebration that followed was nothing short of electric. Set within the rustic charm of Limestone Heritage, the evening unfolded in a wave of laughter, dancing, and emotional toasts. The band, Sterjotipi, kept spirits high while friends and family filled the space with warmth. There’s something special about weddings where the dance floor never empties — and this was definitely one of those.

A special mention goes to the incredibly talented team that brought their vision to life:

  • Cinematography: Matthew Zammi Cordina

  • Planner: Katia Gatt

  • Makeup: Makeup by Maria

  • Hair: Hairtogo

  • Dress: Eva Marie

  • Jewellery & Accessories: Carisma + rings from L-Argentier

  • Florals: D Florist

  • Decor: Backlight

  • Transport: Dalton’s

Their first dance — “Don’t Give Up on Me” by Andy Grammer — perfectly summed up the resilience and tenderness they share.

When I asked them what they were most excited about, their answer was simple and beautiful:
“The church and dancing with our families and friends.”
And that’s exactly what the day became — a celebration of unity, joy, and belonging.

Catherine and Gilmour, thank you for allowing me to witness your story. It was a day that will stay with me for a long time — and I hope these images always bring you back to the love and laughter that filled it.
