Some weddings stand out not only for their beauty but for the warmth, joy, and genuine love that fills every moment. This was exactly the case with this elegant celebration, flawlessly planned by Jurgen Briffa, and set against some of Malta’s most iconic backdrops. From a touching ceremony at Knisja San Duminku in Rabat to a lively reception at Phoenicia’s Rotunda and Pool, this wedding was a seamless blend of timeless elegance and personal charm.
The day began with quiet anticipation as I captured the groom as he prepared with calm confidence, surrounded by his closest family and friends. Just a short drive away in Madliena, the bride's preparations unfolded at Espoir — a lovely blend of serene moments and joyful energy. With Gia taking care of make-up and Murat Gerser styling her hair, the bride looked absolutely radiant in a gown by Ivory & Co.
By 16:30, as the bride arrived in a white Lamborghini, all eyes were on the couple as they exchanged vows at the stunning Knisja San Duminku in Rabat. The atmosphere was beautifully intimate, enhanced by the soulful voice of Petra, whose live performance added a truly moving dimension to the ceremony.
Following the ceremony, we took a short photoshoot in the Rabat church and in the nearby monastery in Rabat for a portrait session. This time was a photographer’s dream — the golden light, the quiet cloisters, and the love between the couple all came together perfectly.
The evening transitioned to a grand celebration at Phoenicia’s Rotunda, where guests were welcomed into a world of elegance. Save the Date brought the couple’s vision to life with tasteful decorations, while Alistair Floral Design created stunning arrangements that complemented the setting beautifully.
As the sun set, the party moved poolside, where Versatile kept the energy high and the dance floor full. From heartfelt speeches to unforgettable dance moments, the evening was the perfect blend of glamour and celebration.
