Ok so let me be upfront with you.
This was not a normal prewedding session. For various reasons.
Firstly, Nicole and Chris are two of my best friends. I always try when photographing a couple to make friends with them first to make them feel at ease…. but having actual real best friends be your models for the day has a different vibe. It all feels very special quickly and they were so willing to accommodate my requests for posing and locations…. almost all let’s say!
Secondly, we shot all around Gozo for like 8 or 9 hours straight. When I was being asked where we shot, it was more like … where did we not shoot in Gozo? We visited Sannat, Victoria, Cittadella, Gharb, ta Pinu, Wied il-Ghasri, l-Akwedott, Ramla Bay.
Thirdly, Nicole and Chris are a beautiful couple. What I mean by beautiful is not just from their outward appearance (yeah infact they are also beautiful from the outside and made great models!), but I mean from the inside. I know them well and their love and determination overcomes all obstacles. Just a tiny example, to demonstrate my point was that it was so lovely to see Chris being so much into the moments and actively involving himself in the images even though I am so much aware that he does not love being in photographs at all!
I hope you enjoy the images as much as I enjoyed the day with my two best friends. I am so looking forward to their wedding later in June of this year! 🧡
