When Ferreira Couture messaged me on Instagram to ask me if I was interested in a shootout it did not take me more than 2 seconds to say yes. As soon as I saw her profile I knew that she loved art and had a certain passion for what she does. After discussing the photographic vision of the photoshoot, we settled on choosing Valletta to create the classic Malta feel. We also managed to get permission to use the MUZA museum for our shootout to get maximum effect. The cherry on the cake was that the model was Gaia Cauchi a popular singer which acted as our beautiful model.
During this shootout I also experimented with long exposure. A 0.25sec exposure enables a perfect balance between an in-camera motion blur effect and the capability of the model to remain perfectly still even though the temperature was let's say chilly!
