Xara lodge is a large estate area which covers 5780m² and offers a mix of interconnecting indoor and outdoor locations of varying sizes. It is located in Rabat, close to traditional Maltese countryside hunting estate.

General information

The Xara Lodge was intentionally built as a multi-functional event venue. It is set in the picturesque countryside just outside of Rabat and has a large footprint. The Xara Lodge has the advantage of offering complete privacy as it is separate from other houses in the vicinity. The venue is surrounded by nature and enjoys considerable natural light. In view that it has such a large area there are different and unique layouts which can be used.

The two the main areas which can be used for a wedding are the Ministrel’s Hall or the Back Patio and Pool area.

Minstrel’s Hall
The large Minstrel’s Hall is The Xara Lodge’s main hall. With an astounding marble flooring and adjacent to the green patio, the hall can hold around 600 guests standing.

Xara Lodge Back Patio and Pool Area

The pool area at The Xara Lodge offers a perfect setting for a pool party during the sizzling hot summer days. The pool surrounded with trees and turf creates an exclusive chic vibe in the countryside between Siġġiewi and Rabat.

In my opinion Xara Lodge is very beautiful and highly finished. I love the interior Hall in particular, as I find this to be very well lit and designed. The outdoor area requires some additional light as there are areas which can be a bit dark. The different rooms in the Xara Lodge also enable the couple to have some private time and some images of intimacy.
