All the way from China, Gaia and Gerard travelled to Malta and spent here with us a few days, not only to enjoy our beautiful country, but also to do their post-wedding shootout! Together we visited the locations of Valletta, Mdina and Golden bay - enjoying also a dramatic sunset.
RX1Rii streetphotography in Paris. Work does not exclude photography :)
Some weeks ago I had the pleasure of shooting some fashion photography for naaxha - a new Maltese Designer clothing line
A year on with the RX1Rii camera! :)
For the photographer's interview series, today I wanted to introduce to you a fellow and very friendly photographer - Therese Debono. I am sure you will find her replies below really interesting and motivating as I have found them. Her views are very much inline with my idea of photography.
Maggie and Jao came all the way from Beijing to Malta for the shootout which we held all over Malta.
This week I had the opportunity to shoot a different kind of event. I was asked to shoot for a company (Ellevi) which was working on board a Cruise liner which was being refurbished at the Palumbo Shipyards in Malta. Being a mechanical engineer, I just could not refuse such a shootout...
One weekend (work trip), one camera (RX1rii), one city (Berlin).
The wedding of Debora (from Italy) and Gilbert (from Malta), is a mix of laughter, spontaneity and energy. The bride's residence for the occasion was the Fortina Spa Resort and the ceremony and the reception was held in the lovely Olive Gardens, overlooking Mdina.
I am just back from a few days travelling around Scotland - Glasgow, Lochness, Isle of Skye, Dundee, Edinburgh - are just some of the few places I visited. I hope you can enjoy the images and relive the various locations through my eyes...
A unique Indian wedding here in Malta at Razzett l-Abjad. The couple brought over a videographer, makeup artist, DJ and chef but decided for myself as their photographer! What an honour. :)
One of the best maltese weddings I had the pleasure to attend to was that of Juana and Jonathan. The the Bride's house in Hal Ghaxaq was breathtaking and the day memorable.
Ohh boy! The RX1rii is finally in my hands and I take it out for a real life review for what it is meant for - street photography!
Ashley and Lewis are a lovely couple - modest and humble - make me at ease all day and are truly caring and joy to be with. Their kid, Harrison, also makes for some great character and enjoyment... while all this occurs at the Seabank hotel. I hope you enjoy their wedding story...
Adventurous and daring - I think these are the best words to describe Luke and Romilyn. Their wedding was very unique with a beach party, jetski entrance and fireworks! Vamos-a-la-playa!
I had to pleasure to shoot a friend and family getting together here in Malta for Lesley and her friends. All the way from Australia to Malta, and from all over Europe for this re-union - glad it worked out as planned! :)
Review of the RX100 from a photographers point of view... with special consideration to street photography.
A humble and tender couple, Juana and Jonathan, are keen to explore the Bormla and Birgu area... together we wander through its narrow roads and flowers.
A weekend at Barcelona... :)
This simple wedding gave me the opportunity to shoot in Valletta, during the Carnival period. I hope you enjoy the images and story, of Aleksandra and Brendt.
