Deborah & Leon – A Joyful Celebration at Eden Lodge
Last week I had the joy of capturing Deborah and Leon’s wedding, a celebration full of love, music, and unforgettable moments. Their day was a perfect reflection of their personalities – elegant, heartfelt, and so much fun.
The Morning Preparations
The day began in San Ġiljan, where Leon and his groomsmen prepared at The Albany. Excitement and laughter filled the air, setting the tone for what was to come. Shortly after, I joined Deborah in Zabbar, where she was surrounded by her closest family and friends. Her stunning Alamango gown, paired with jewellery from GABA and Ray’s Jewellery, gave her a timeless, graceful look. Hair by Vanusia Hair Design and makeup by Justin Brincat completed her elegant bridal style.
The Ceremony at Zabbar Parish Church
The couple exchanged vows at the beautiful Zabbar Parish Church. With live music by pianist Düska Alessio Pagano and the moving vocals of Talitha Dimech, the ceremony was heartfelt and deeply emotional. Every detail – from the floral arrangements by Flowers by Anna Zammit to the décor by Golden Edge Event Services – created an atmosphere that was both warm and unforgettable.
A Romantic Photoshoot
After the ceremony, Deborah and Leon slipped away for a short photoshoot. The winding streets of Zabbar provided a charming and intimate backdrop, perfectly suited for their first portraits together as husband and wife.
The Reception at Eden Lodge
The celebration continued at Eden Lodge, where The Rhythmic Affairs kept guests on their feet with their lively performance, later joined by DJ Carlo Gerada who took the after-party energy to the next level. From the heartfelt first dance to “Perfect Symphony” by Ed Sheeran & Andrea Bocelli, to the couple’s fun throwback moment with “Uptown Funk” – every song told part of their love story. And of course, “The Best” by Tina Turner was the perfect anthem to keep spirits high.
A Love Worth Celebrating
When I asked Deborah and Leon what they were most excited about for their wedding day, their answers aligned perfectly: the dancing, the after-party, and above all – finally being able to call each other husband and wife. That joy was felt in every moment of the day.
It was a true privilege to capture their story – a celebration not only of two people, but of all the love, laughter, and music that brought them, and their loved ones, together.
