Some weddings are elegant. Some are emotional. And some are simply filled with pure joy from beginning to end. Karl and Chanelle’s wedding was one of those celebrations where happiness seemed to radiate from every person present.
The day began with preparations in the south of Malta, where both Karl and Chanelle spent the morning surrounded by family and close friends. There was an unmistakable excitement in the air as the final details came together. Chanelle looked stunning in her gown from Alamango, with her bridal look completed by Castillo Hair and a talented makeup artist from within her own family — a personal touch that made the morning even more meaningful.
Meanwhile, Karl prepared for the day ahead knowing that within a few short hours he would be standing beside the woman he loves at the altar of the beautiful Kapuċċini Church at Santa Liberata.
The ceremony itself was filled with warmth and emotion. Accompanied by the beautiful voices of Yulan Law and Francesca, Karl and Chanelle exchanged vows surrounded by family and friends who had gathered to witness the beginning of their next chapter together.
Following the ceremony, we remained around the church grounds for the couple portraits. With the striking architecture of Santa Liberata providing the backdrop, we captured a series of timeless images that reflected both the elegance of the setting and the natural connection between the couple. The portraits felt relaxed and genuine — a brief moment for Karl and Chanelle to enjoy being newlyweds before continuing the celebrations.
The reception took place at Villa Overhills, a venue perfectly suited to the atmosphere the couple wanted to create. Beautifully decorated by H&S, with floral arrangements by Pisani Florist, the venue welcomed guests into an afternoon filled with laughter, music, and celebration.
One thing Karl and Chanelle were particularly looking forward to was spending the day with everyone they love while enjoying plenty of dancing and fun. They certainly achieved exactly that. From the moment guests arrived, the energy never dropped.
Music played an important role throughout the day. The couple entered to "Where Is My Husband?" by RAYE, bringing smiles and laughter to their guests, while their first dance to "Camera" by Ed Sheeran created one of the most romantic moments of the day. As the celebrations continued, the sounds of ZoneFive Band, together with singers Amber and Christian Arding, kept the atmosphere alive before DJ Shaken took over and transformed the evening into a lively celebration.
Every wedding has its own personality, and Karl and Chanelle's was defined by joy. There was no pretence, no unnecessary formality — just two people genuinely enjoying one of the happiest days of their lives, surrounded by family and friends who were equally excited to celebrate with them.
From the emotional ceremony at Santa Liberata to the dancing-filled reception at Villa Overhills, their wedding was a beautiful reminder that the most memorable celebrations are often the ones where everyone simply enjoys the moment.
