Kim and Paul’s wedding day was a celebration of love, family, and energy - a day that brought together everyone closest to them in one beautiful setting to celebrate the beginning of their next chapter. From the heartfelt ceremony in Marsaskala to the grand reception overlooking the harbour at Villa Bighi, every moment carried meaning.
The day began in Marsaskala, where preparations unfolded separately yet only moments apart. Paul got ready surrounded by family and anticipation, while Kim’s morning was filled with excitement, final touches, and those quiet moments before everything becomes real.
Kim wore a stunning gown by Eva Marie, bringing together elegance and sophistication in a look that felt effortlessly timeless. Her makeup by Amanda Greaves and hairstyling by Hair by Elaine together with Screen Salon by Alexia completed the look beautifully, enhancing her natural grace. Arriving in style with Luxe Limos, every detail reflected the refined atmosphere they had envisioned for the day.
The ceremony took place at Wied il-Għajn Parish Church, where family and friends gathered to witness Kim and Paul exchange vows. Accompanied by the beautiful voice of Monica Borg Cuschieri, the ceremony felt intimate despite being surrounded by so many loved ones. There was a genuine warmth throughout — the kind that comes when two families and circles of friends come together in one place for something truly meaningful.
Following the ceremony, the celebrations moved to Villa Bighi in Kalkara. With its panoramic views and historic setting, the venue created a spectacular backdrop for the evening ahead. Guests were welcomed with drinks and live saxophone music as the golden evening light settled over the harbour.
The reception styling by Commander Jay Events, together with floral arrangements by Meme’s Fleuriste, transformed the venue into an elegant celebration space that perfectly matched the atmosphere of the day.
Music played an important role throughout the celebration. Kevin Paul & Band brought energy and emotion to the evening, while Kim and Paul shared their first dance to “Int u Jien” — a song that carried even greater significance because it was one of their personal favourites. Shortly afterwards, the dance floor filled as family and friends celebrated late into the night, moving from live music into a lively DJ set.
One of the moments that stood out most was exactly what Kim and Paul had said they were looking forward to most before the wedding: having all the people they love together in one place. And throughout the day, that feeling was everywhere — in every hug, every laugh, every shared table, and every dance.
