Monique and David’s wedding day was a beautiful blend of elegance, emotion, and effortless joy a celebration that unfolded naturally, allowing every moment to be felt and remembered just as it was.
The day began with preparations in Swieqi and San Ġwann, where both Monique and David got ready just minutes away from each other. There was a calm excitement in the air, the kind that builds quietly before something truly meaningful begins. Monique wore a timeless gown by Ivory & Co., paired with soft, refined makeup by Louise Ann Bugeja Tate & Julia Bugeja Tate and elegant hairstyling by Bridal Hair by Bernice. Every detail came together beautifully, reflecting her natural grace and style.
The ceremony took place at the MSSP Oratory in Birkirkara, an intimate and heartfelt setting that perfectly suited the couple. Surrounded by their closest family and friends, Monique and David exchanged vows in a moment that felt both deeply personal and full of quiet emotion.
Following the ceremony, we stayed close to the oratory for the couple portraits and it turned out to be the perfect decision. Rather than moving between multiple locations, we focused on what was already there: the character of the surroundings, the textures, the light, and most importantly, Monique and David themselves. From the colourful façade near the car park to the more subtle architectural details around the oratory, every frame felt intentional and grounded.
This approach allowed the session to remain relaxed and unhurried. Without the need to travel, Monique and David could simply enjoy a few quiet moments together and taking it all in before the celebrations continued. These are often the moments that matter most, and the ones that tell the story in the most honest way.
The evening then moved to Limestone Heritage, where the atmosphere shifted into celebration. With music by Lara & the Jukeboys and Sleek, the energy built naturally into a lively and unforgettable night. Beautiful floral arrangements by Badokka added a soft elegance to the space, while thoughtful moments — including a surprise birthday celebration and a fun makjetta by friends — made the evening even more personal.
What stood out most about their wedding was its authenticity — a day that didn’t try to be anything other than what it was: meaningful, joyful, and deeply personal. It was an honour to document their story and preserve these moments as they truly happened.
