They say a little rain on your wedding day brings good luck — and for Kristianne and Nicky, that couldn’t have been truer. Their celebration at the Radisson Golden Sands may have unfolded indoors due to the rain, but the love, laughter, and emotion that filled every space made the day shine brighter than any sunset could.

The day began at Kristianne’s family home in Swieqi — a warm, bustling scene filled with excitement and heartfelt anticipation. Surrounded by her bridesmaids and loved ones, Kristianne got ready in a space brimming with joy and calm.

Shale Grasso (Makeup by Shale) enhanced Kristianne’s radiant glow, while her cousin Martina from Martina’s Hair Studio — with the help of her mum — crafted elegant hairstyles for the entire bridal team. The finishing touches from Kaxxa Gawhar added just the right hint of sparkle and sophistication.

Meanwhile, Nicky prepared at the Radisson Golden Sands, with the sea visible through misty windows — a poetic backdrop for what was to come. Despite the weather, spirits were high, and laughter echoed through the room as the guys shared jokes and tied ties, ready to welcome the day.

As the rain softly drizzled outside, the Radisson’s indoor ceremony setup came to life — cozy, elegant, and beautifully lit. Guests gathered in a warmly decorated space as Lisa Gauci’s soulful voice (arranged through Alison from Pro DJ Hire) filled the room.

Kristianne’s entrance was nothing short of breathtaking — the sound of her footsteps on the marble floor, the gentle hum of the music, and Nicky’s smile said it all. Despite the change of plans, their ceremony was deeply emotional and intimate — proof that love outshines any storm.

Even though I teased Nicky about not loving the posing part, he ended up surprising us all — relaxed, smiling, and fully present in the moment. Together, we created images that reflect their connection — raw, joyful, and timeless.

The reception that followed was filled with laughter, music, and an energy that could warm even the stormiest day. Gianni & Band (RUG) kept the room alive, while DJ Tony Tony made sure the afterparty was unforgettable.

From their first dance to “Stand by Me” by Ben E. King till the end, the atmosphere was pure celebration. Every toast, every hug, every spontaneous dance spoke of one thing — love shared among family and friends.

All of this came together seamlessly thanks to wedding planner Ian Pulis, with Badokka Flowers & Art adding floral touches that brightened the rainy day perfectly. Matthew Deguara’s cinematography captured the mood beautifully — cozy, heartfelt, and full of soul.
